Prometheus's fallacy

Written 2025 · Published · Last edited —

For loving you was self treason:
For you to peck on my liver, indefinitely
From the pain, only freed
When arrows shot, hands made free.

No mental tax, no jealousy.
Or so I thought, but lingering
To realize when far too late:
You, eagle, was paramount.

To liver or Hercules
Was it really a dichotomy?
If the case of a fallacy
I would've have gone for number three
